The Homeless Support Circle program is part of the Raleigh/Wake Ending Homelessness effort that was created to help the approximately 200 evacuees from Hurricane Katrina to the Triangle area. In response to the needs of the evacuees, more than 40 local congregations formed 76 support circles to help the evacuees restore their family’s homes following the hurricane disaster.
