The ENVS Program at Gonzaga connects a community of faculty and students who bring the diverse perspectives of a liberal arts education to bear on issues of human interaction with the natural world. Current studies include: an evaluation of American Legacy Foundation/Washington State Department of Health Media Literacy Pilot Study.

The Institute of Catholic Bioethics at Saint Joseph’s University was founded on August 28, 2006 with the mission to develop and promote interdisciplinary research projects, educational programs, academic courses, clinical consultation and policy development services in the field of bioethics to meet the needs of three constituencies: the Saint Joseph’s University academic community, the medical establishment of the Philadelphia area and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

The Obesity Prevention Center is committed to the scholarship of discovery reflected in our mission: To discover new knowledge through research that integrates social, behavioral, cultural, and physical factors critical to understanding problems, implementing programs, and developing policies designed to prevent obesity; To apply this knowledge to the practice of preventing obesity, through partnerships with community and academic collaborators.

The Georgetown University Center for Child and Human Development (GUCCHD) was established over four decades ago to improve the quality of life for all children and youth, especially those with, or at risk for, special needs and their families. Located in the nation's capital, this exceptional center both directly serves vulnerable children and their families, as well as influences local, state, national and international programs and policy.

The mission of the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support at Saint Joseph's University is to provide multi-disciplinary education and research opportunities for students, teachers, professionals, and parents who seek to improve and extend opportunities, outcomes, quality of life and best practices in treatment for people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The Center offers services, resources, and information; support and guidance; and tools for public and individual advocacy that contributes to improved Autism awareness and care.

The Ravazzin Center's mission is to enable social workers and communities to meet the needs of an aging society through development and dissemination of empirically based knowledge that will further the understanding of aging and strengthen the role of social work.
