Addictive Behavior Ministry (San Diego, CA)
Arrupe Program in Social Ethics for Business (Washington, DC)
The mission of the Arrupe Program is to promote the pursuit of truly human values by business managers and executives and the people who run them. The program offers an eight-week seminar entitled Faith and Values at Work, to help the participants develop a faith-centered framework for thinking about themselves, the purpose of business, and the vocation of organizational leadership. The Arrupe Program has also developed a one-day workshop centered around these same themes for groups of Jesuit high school and university alumni, and a values-based course, The Foundations Seminar, for use with business management teams.
Centro Altagracia de Fe y Justicia (New York, NY)
The Centro Altagracia is dedicated to faith in action; promoting social justice through active collaboration with parishes, community organizations, and individuals and through initiatives that serve the needs of the community as those needs have been identified by the Hispanic community of northern Manhattan. We seek to awaken awareness within individuals of how their Catholic, Christian faith calls them to be aware of the issues impacting their community and to be engaged in action to address these issues. Among the Centro's programs are: Social/Pastoral Ministry Teams that serve as coordinators and catalysts for social awareness and action within parishes; H.E.L.P. (Hispanic Evangelization Leadership Program) that trains young adults for leadership roles within their parishes; and G.R.A.C.E. (Gaining Respect and Awareness through Community Education) which addresses the issue of domestic violence. The Centro also maintains a library of books and DVDs for community use.
Christian Life Communities(CLC) (Sacramento, CA)

Dolores Mission Parish (Los Angeles, CA)
Dolores Mission became a parish in 1945, after twenty years as a mission for nearby
St. Mary's Parish. By then, public housing had become a fixture of the neighborhood.
In 1980, the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) came to the parish in response to a
request from Cardinal Timothy Manning, the archbishop of Los Angeles at the time.
Gabriel Project (El Paso, TX)
The Gabriel Project is a crisis pregnancy center that provides services to address unexpected pregnancies.
Gesu Social Ministries (Milwaukee, WI)
The social ministries are active year-round and open to all parishioners to join in making the social mission of the church the essential and central mission of the parish. Examples of ministries include: parish twinning with St Jude's parish in Haiti, ongoing social justice eduation programs, and fair trade coffee sales.
Health Ministry (Missoula, MT)
The parish promotes healthy living through blood pressure checkups, walking, and special teachings to gain wisdom on how to take care of our body, mind and spirit. Yearly event: “Walk to Bethlehem” starts in September and continues through December.

Interfaith Hospitality Network (University Heights, OH)
Gesu Church is a member of the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) – a coalition of area churches, synagogues, and places of worship, which provide temporary overnight housing for homeless families at periodic weekly intervals during the year. Volunteers are needed to provide meals and companionship during times when Gesu hosts IHN guests in McAuley Hall.
Jesuit Urban Service Team (Camden, NJ)
The Jesuit Urban Service Team provides educational, medical, legal and social services to the working poor and underserved families living in Camden and South Jersey. These ministries include Holy Name School and the High School Scholars Program, St. Luke’s Catholic Medical Services, the Camden Center For Law and Social Justice and Guadalupe Family Services.

This area-focus of Marquette's Office of Campus Ministries addresses issues of faith and justice, including peace, hunger, and civic engagement.
Kateri NW Ministry Institute (Spokane, WA)
The Institute started in 1989 to empower Native Americans to minister to their own people and continue their catholic identity. The institutes training deals with alcohol/dysfnctional families and enriches the Catholic Tradition through the gifts of Native American Culture.
Kino Border Initiative (Nogales, Mexico and US)
The Kino Border Initiative provides pastoral assistance, shelter, breakfast and other assistance to recently deported migrants on the border in Nogales, AZ. In addition to these basic services, the Centro de Atencion a Migrantes Deportados (CAMDEP) provides overnight shelter to unaccompanied women who may need time and pastoral attention as they discern their next steps.
Manresa Program (Milwaukee, WI)
Marquette's Manresa Program is discernment process aimed at cultivating graduate students who are "men and women for others" and who have a sense of their personal vocations.The program seeks to promote change at the level of the individual and the institution: to engage in transformational learning, and to help individuals ponder how to use their personal gifts and talents to help meet the world's needs. It steeps participants in the model of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius by using its methods of prayer, reflection and discernment to ask key questions: What have I done for Christ? What am I doing for Christ? What will I do for Christ?
Martha Ministry (Sacramento, CA)
Martha Ministers assist parishioners in providing a luncheon to family and friends after a funeral in St. Ignatius Church. They shop, cook, set up, serve, and clean up after a luncheon or light reception held in the Parish Center's Garden Room. Food is both purchased and donated, and the average size of group served is 60-80. A typical luncheon requires two-hour shifts beginning about 10:00 am and lasting until 2:00 pm or later, and linens are laundered by the volunteers.
