The Center for Community Action and Service Learing is a resource center for students, faculty, and community partners who are engaged in curricular and co-curricular community service initiatives.  It empowers students to take action through community involvement, education, and public service to strive for social justice.

IGonzaga has a historic commitment to the Indian people of the Northwest, and GIEOP is one of Gonzaga's outward expressions of its original mission. GIEOP works with its partner schools on the Colville and Spokane Indian Reservations through a service leaning class that is based in the Biology department. GIEOP also supports teacher education in inquiry-based science learning and culturally-relevant curriculum development.

Seniors devote one school day to direct service with the poor.
