Center for Urban Research Learning (Chicago, IL)
The Center for Urban Research and Learning (CURL) of Loyola University Chicago seeks to promote equality and to improve people's lives in communities throughout the Chicago metropolitan region.
CURL pursues this goal by building and supporting collaborative research and education efforts. These partnerships connect Loyola faculty and students with community and nonprofit organizations, civic groups, and government agencies. Such collaborations link the skills and wisdom present within every community with the specialized knowledge and academic discipline of a vital urban university. Working together, community needs are addressed and the academic experience is enriched.
Christian Outreach to Appalachian People (Wilmette, IL)
This program conducts community based construction and repair projects in Kentucky, West Virginia and Virginia.
Circle of Friends (Chicago, IL)
We help mentally handicapped / developmentally challenged young adults to lead meaningful and happy lives with dignity and respect. In association with the Ray Graham Training Center, our members contribute as friends to such events as sporting games, dances, holiday parties, a clothing drive, a concert, etc. The members benefit from ongoing education and training in the areas of mental and physical disabilities. The group is about social inclusion and making real friends.
Community Tutoring Alliance (Chicago, IL)
The Community Tutoring Alliance tutors students from neighboring elementary schools. Tutors and tustees work one-on-one throughout the year on all areas of the grammar school study. A very special relationship often develops between the pair of students as the year progresses. Social activities such as parties near holidays and field trips are planned throughout the year. Participation in CTA can be a very rewarding experience.
Emergency Food Supply (Chicago, IL)

Institute for Migration and International Social Work (Chicago, IL)
Examines the impact of globalization and migration in producing challenges that cross national borders, and then asks how these problems should be addresses. Offered by Loyola Chicago's School of Social work, students are able to sub-specialize in the area of Immigration and Migration Studies.
Lithuanian Jesuit Project (Lemont, IL)

Outdoor/Ecology Club (Chicago, IL)
The main goal of this ecologically minded group is to raise awareness of environmental issues and to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Environmental service projects and field trips are sponsored each year.
Outreach to the Cheyenne River Reservation (Wilmette, IL)
Students visit the Cheyenne River Reservation and offer service to the community.
Poder Center (Chicago, IL)
Since 1997, Poder has responded to the educational needs of immigrants in the primarily Latino areas of Pilsen/Little Village and Back of the Yards, on Chicago’s southwest side. In less than ten years, 4,500 students have attended our tuition free classes.
Service Learning at the Daystar Center (Wilmette, IL)
Students participating in this program repair houses, help senior citizens, and visit local families.

St. Procopius School (Chicago, IL)
St. Procopius School provides a dual-language education for over 240 students enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. In addition to learning to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish at or above grade level, students also learn and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of both Mexico and the United States.
